Hey guys! I have finally wrapped up my time at Fanime 2014. That being said, I took tons of pictures, just not a lot with my camera. I know, bad me. The photos are on instagram, username OriginalPolarBearMoose. Also, I made unofficial plans to do a photo shoot with someone in their SNK gear later on (which will be with a real camera).
PS, if you know who Vampy is, then should should definitely check out my instagram, because I got a selfie with her.
Had a Lens Baby today on a photo shoot with my friend Annie. I liked the petals in the trees. It was also my first time climbing a tree in probably 4 year too.
Hey guys! It’s been a while, amirite? Anywho, here’s what’s happening: I’m going to Fanime 2014! I will definitely photographing a semi-private session with a Black & White ball group doing the Homestuck kids. (Again, forgive any mistakes I make while referring to Homestuck, I don’t actually read it.)
Hopefully, I will be there the whole weekend. But, I am going on a trip to Mexico which will take priority over my Fanime pass as far as cost goes. But it means that I’ll have new photos to post (once I go through post-processing). Hoorayyy!
For the tumblr I post on regularly, check out PolarBearMoose.tumblr.com
For my blog, which I also update more regularly, check out PolarBearMoose.blogspot.com
I don’t know Homestuck (sorry if get this wrong!), but I believe this is karkat? Anyways, it’s from the NorCal Winter Cosplay Gathering.
For those of you who are Homestuck fans, follow Lo! (If you aren’t already that is). Also, I am a cosplay photographer, so consider this my shameless self-promotion.
Hey Guys! I finally went out and took some pictures! Are they edited? No, but, a least it’s a picture! And it’s more or less a selfie! So, the cosplay isn’t completely finished, but it’s pretty close! I may even have it ready in time for famine.
Well, I knew it was going to be hard to do a photo a day, and I never really said that’s what I was doing, but I’m sure it’s evident that I was. Unfortunately though, it’s harder than I thought it would be, especially since I’m avoiding using my portfolio, but still finding good pictures. All this to say, the photo of the day thing is gonna have to take a hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. I’m sure I’ll be able to post pictures every now and again, but not every day like I have been. And especially not until after I load photoshop. In the meantime, I may not post everyday, but I have been posting fairly often on my blogspot. So check that out. Yeah. I guess that’s all right now.
Sunrise at the Grand Canyon. One of my favorite movies of all times is Paulie. In the movie, Paulie mentions how one of the most beautiful things to experience is sunrise at the Grand Canyon and that you have to be there to experience it. So I was inspired when I took a trip to there to get up in time to see it. It really was amazing to see and if you ever have the chance, I would recommend it. Also, watch Paulie. It’s super cute and yes, it is about a bird.
When we learned about bokeh for the first time, I was super confused. Then we started practicing and it was so much fun to do. We had little cut out shapes to go over the lens to change the shapes of the lights. This is actually supposed to be the heart one, but it’s hard to tell. It was fitting to learn bokeh for the christmas season though :)
